About EurotestEurotest is the automated rating upgrade system of the VATSIM Europe Division (VATEUD) and its Training Department. It serves the purpose of supporting the VATEUD staff to examine the knowledge of VATSIM member who wish to obtain a higher controller rating.Eurotest was founded in 1999 to help in the process of rating upgrade requests, which to this point were done manually. Due to limited resources, getting a controller rating upgrade was a long and complicated process. Eurotest helped to change this. With the current version 3 of Eurotest, in April 2004, the process was even more streamlined, saving valuable human resources for those tasks that computers cannot do for us, and making the upgrading process easier than ever for our members.
